The city of Brea was founded in 1917, as the eight official city of Orange County. Brea (meaning "oil" or "tar" in Spanish) began as a center of crude oil production, was later propelled by citrus production, and is now an important retail center because of the large Brea Mall and the recently redeveloped Brea Downtown. Brea has now developed into a beautiful city that is ideal for families to come and live in harmony.
Here are three animations that help portray Brea's landmarks and foundations such as the oil fields, the establishment of Brea, and the Brea Olinda High School.
